Elaine weighed in whiting and tarwhine for the win, with Rose Clowe coming in second with a nice whiting.
Dave’s 4.286kg jewfish and tarwhine secured him the title. Johnny Neaves bought in mangrove jack and bream, Dan Clowe had flathead and Buck had a nice moses perch. All points add up to the end of year tallies.
The bass section was taken again by Dave Whalen with four fish up to 45cm. Dean Holmes was second with two fish up to 35cm.
The mystery fish didn’t go off so now jackpots to $60, as well as the members’ draw – another $60 thanks to Bruce Gregory not being there … left a little too early Brucie.
The March comp is this weekend and the target species will be mackerel and whiting. Weigh-in is between 2pm and 2.30 with a sausage sizzle to follow.
