POLICE are investigating an armed robbery in Coffs Harbour yesterday.

It is understood about 10am on Sunday, a 57-year-old man was working in a liquor store when an unknown man entered the store and approached the man.
The man has then threatened the employee with a knife.
The employee has then tried to leave the store but the man has followed the employee onto Park Ave.
The 57-year-old man has then called police and the unknown man has left the scene on foot.
Officers from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command are investigating the incident.
They wish to speak to a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries
He is described as being in his mid to late 20s and Caucasian in appearance. He is about 178cm tall with a medium build. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing a black hooded jumper and bright yellow knee-length shorts.
