The four, calling themselves the Nambuccca ValleyCAT team, are raising money for local kids.
ValleyCAT was set up as a community access trial in partnership with Royal Far West to support Valley kids with development problems in 2015.
By the end of the trial in December last year, 80 children requiring speech or occupational therapy had been helped through school-based therapy via the RFW’s innovative Telecrare system.
With the successful trial behind them, the ValleyCAT committee is moving to a sustainable model … and hence the team’s fundraising ride.
To get them off to a good start there will be a mega-garage sale at 49 Boundary St, Macksville, on Saturday, February 25.
Be there to pick up a bargain!
