His latest offerings, Easy Does It and the Seeing Eye Crocodile, are in the same knock-about style with familiar knock-about characters.
Easy Does It takes us back to the pub in Newtown, Sydney with Eggo and his wry observations but this time with illustrations by Nambucca artist Jill Patten.
The Seeing-Eye Crocodile is a solid 500-page read about the conman Freddy Todd, “who leads those who will not see to endure their own nemesis”.
“Writing gives me immense pleasure … once you get into it, you are in another world, one where you have the power,” Andrew said.
The launch is tomorrow night, 5pm at the Nambucca Heads RSL. Copies are $22 and $32, also available from e-books or Lulu Enterprises.
