It’s the first week back to school for many Nambucca Valley students; for others its the first-ever taste of school life and for still others, its a whole new school with new faces and new friends.
Bowraville Central’s principal, Malcolm McFarlane, is part of the Valley 10 group of schools. He said that all schools were welcoming their students, old and new, especially, and importantly, kindergarten children.
“We’re all pleased to be back. Learning is something that happens both in and out of school – we look forward to students and their families embracing that process, be it through assignments, collaborative research or homework,” Mr McFarlane said.
“The business of schools is not secret business – we invite everyone to be involved.”
