After an enjoyable meal there was a one cent auction, with monies raised going toward sponsorship for The Smith Family Learning for Life students who are sponsored by the club.
The next meeting will be on December 7, and this gathering will be the Christmas function.
The club is raffling a wheelbarrow of goodies with tickets at $2 each from members or you will find the ladies outside of Betta Electrical Macksville, selling tickets today.
Autumn Lodge
THE MEMBERS of Autumn Lodge Auxiliary held a successful street stall recently to raise funds to purchase equipment to make life more comfortable for the residents of Autumn Lodge.
There was an abundance of cakes and slices for sale as well as jams and other preserves. Money raised will go towards the purchase of specialised gel chairs which are much needed.
Talarm Hall
SANTA will arrive at Talarm Hall on Friday December 9 to distribute gifts that will be stacked under the tree. There will be a sausage sizzle and a raffle. The cost is families $15, singles $5. Bring presents (value about $10) clearly marked with children’s names for Santa to distribute. The festivities begin at 7pm.
