When asked about the allure of this classic of Australian car design, enthusiast Tim Macedon (Sydney) said simply “it’s the package of Australian motor sport”.
And among those gathered on Wednesday, it was unanimous that the end of production has left them all “feeling gutted”.
The meeting will include all the frivolity and fun that comes with catching up with old friends from interstate in the relaxed family atmosphere of Valla Beach and surrounds.
The Show ‘n Shine is in the Nambucca Heads RSL car park from 9am with buffet breakfast inside or the Nashos popular egg and bacon rolls in the carpark from 8am.
Around 250 cars are expected – there will be face painting and a jumping castle for the kids.
