The group of talented artists relies on community support to acknowledge their joy of art and their ability to delight people with their artwork.
This Life without Barriers annual event showcases the work of their art group who gain great satisfaction in their lives from working towards the auction. They receive 60 per cent of the proceeds with the rest going back into the program.
The artists are mentored and guided through their art processes, learning techniques, making decisions and choices to produce work described as delightful, crazy and remarkable. They produce paintings, ceramic, paper mache and mosaics.
Where possible, the paintings have been framed using recycled frames and glass to promote re-use.
For superb guitar music, art and fun, be at the Federal Hotel in Bellingen at 2.30pm. The auction itself starts at 3.30pm, led by well known local entertainer Mark Oliver.
The participating artists are Kylie Griffiths, Olivia Dean, Edward Barns, Guy Gibson, Tim Harrison and Marnie Russell.
