The students from Nambucca Heads Public School celebrated their love of stories by dressing up as their favourite characters.
During Book Week, schools, libraries, booksellers, authors, illustrators and children celebrate Australian Children's Literature.
This year's theme, Australia! Story Country, saw Ned Kelly, Russell Coight and rugby league stars, as well as creations from the ever-popular Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh and Harry Potter stories.
The annual event highlights the importance of reading, and was a chance for young students to engage with books in a new way.
