Crews have responded to unplanned outages as quickly as safety will allow with it hoped that power will be restored to all customers by this evening.
Areas currently affected include:
Kalang and Raleigh – 939 customers – Crews are attending to a power pole and lines down in Urunga
Boambee Valley – 577 customers – Crews investigating a fault at the corner of Kasch and Blight Streets.
King Creek, west of Port Macquarie – 230 customers – A tree has fallen over powerlines in Arranbee Road.
Arakoon – 195 customers – Crews are repairing a broken cross arm
Port Macquarie, Shelley Beach area – 75 customers – Crews are repairing a transformer near Wisteria Place
Urara – 70 customers – Crews investigating
Ballina – 66 customers – Crews on site making repairs to the network.
Customers are reminded to keep safety front of mind and if they come across fallen powerlines to stay at least eight metres away and call Essential Energy on 132-080 to report lines down.
