The concert in part was a celebration of the 260th anniversary of the birth of Mozart and included several of his works.
Sadly Mozart had a short life of only 35 years but in his life wrote some of the most memorable music of all time.
He shared the concert with more modern composers and their famous film track musical works including music from Star Trek, James Bond themes and Harry Potter movies. Solo works and duets were also included in the afternoon performance.
The 40-member orchestra was led and inspired by their enthusiastic conductor Tim Egan.
The orchestra visits Nambucca only once each year and is always assured of a warm welcome.
Their next concert will be on Thursday, August 25 at 6.30 pm in St
Augustine's School , Gordon Street. Coffs Harbour. To find out more visit their web site on www.coffsorchestra.org.au
