Thanks to the wonders of modern technology Department of Primary Industries and Lands staff on site were able to prepare for the expected flood.
Pumps were primed to remove water and safe drainage around the site was established.
A spokesman said the site held up well and that the steel sheetpile walls installed earlier in the year also performed well keeping site water separated from the adjacent wetland.
Water quality testing around the site since has shown the wetland water quality to be excellent and the site water quality as good.
