One hundred and forty riders from all over NSW and Queensland raced over three different distances which included a total of 20 categories.
The distances offered were 108km, 54km and 27km. This equated to eight laps, four laps and two laps of the 13.5km Jacks Ridge course. Categories included solo open riders, solo masters riders, teams of two or three of the same gender or mixed, and an under 15 teams event.
A short ‘Dirtmasters’ race was also run for the younger riders just before the main event.
The track was in excellent condition and was fast and smooth. The weather also played a huge part on the day and it was warm and sunny for the entire race.
Mayor Rhonda Hoban was on site at the start of race chatting to riders and their families.
Racing started at 9am and continued well into the afternoon when all riders of the 108km course had finished.
Open and Masters riders competed in the 108km category for the main prize, the Brian Cockbain Memorial Trophy.
This year the male winner was Ethan Kelly from Queensland in a time of 4:33:56 and the female winner was Anna Beck, also from Queensland, in a time of 4:59:22.
