Service in memory of AHS Centaur
The AHS Centaur was sunk by a Japanese torpedo on May 14, 1943 with the loss of 268. One of those lost was Capt. (Dr) Bernard Hindmarsh, a well known doctor from the Nambucca Valley.
There were 64 survivors.
The service will be held at the Rivver St cenotaph at 11am.
