Winner was Ron Edwards (14 handicap) with a great round of 42 points. Ron scored 23 points on the back nine.
Runner-up with 41 points on a countback was Ron Armstrong (5).
The two Ronnies prepared well with pre-game schooners obviously settling any nerves.
Second runner-up went to Allan Clarke (3) with 41 points.
Front nine winner was Michael Simpson with Graham Vincent taking out the back nine.
Nearest the pin winners were - A Grade Karl Cooper, B Grade Cameron Knox and C Grade Curtis Ellis.
The ball comp went back to 34 points with Ron Trimble getting the last on a countback.
Thursday’s stableford event was taken out by Geoff O’Grady with Ron Armstrong taking out the nearest the pin.
The division 6 pennants team’s unbeaten start came to an end in Bellingen, going down 4-1, with captain coach Roy Rudner the only player to win his match.
