They're the darlings of Australia and renowned wildlife warriors, but the Irwin family's cameo in the I'm A Celebrity jungle has failed to wow viewers.
Just 735,000 people in the capital cities tuned in to watch Terri, Bindi and Bob Irwin surprise the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here cast in their South African jungle squalor on Monday night.
While figures for the Ten show are reportedly up 15 per cent from last year, Monday night's I'm A Celeb still finished 11th in the overall ratings.
The addition of the Irwins, meant to be even more significant following Bindi's US Dancing with the Stars victory last year, failed to significantly lift viewer interest.
Last Wednesday, 710,000 in the capital cities watched I'm A Celeb, down from last Monday's figure of 927,000.

The gory jungle challenge continues to be creamed by Seven's ratings juggernaut My Kitchen Rules, which finished on top on Monday with 1.6 million viewers.
On social media, tweets using the #Irwin hashtag encouraged by Ten both praised the Irwins while also writing them off as "condescending".
"I can't be the only one who thinks the #Irwins positivity is a little overdone?" tweeted one person on Monday night.
Wrote another: "Bindi Irwin is INSUFFERABLE I literally want to punch my TV."
The trio have been flown to the South African jungle to teach contestants about wildlife, taking several cast members on an endangered animal safari.
Needless to say, there was also a lot of support for the family who are following in the footsteps of their late father and husband, Steve Irwin.
"Steve Irwin would be smiling upstairs. Great family...done him proud," one viewer tweeted.
The family returns to I'm A Celebrity on Tuesday night, but it is understood their jungle vacation will be a short one.
I love the Irwin kids. Such pure hearts and they find the joy in everything. Great role models #ImACelebrityAU— cameron adams (@cameron_adams) February 8, 2016
