This is a film based on the story of a journey taken by Bill Bryson and his friend Stephen Katz along the Appalachian Trail in the Mountain Wilderness of North America.
The film was made starring Robert Redford, Nick Nolte and Emma Thompson showing a gruelling journey which everyone said could not be done.
Entry is $12, concession $10, BAC members $8. Complimentary tea and coffee is available. Doors open at 1pm.
On Friday, December 4 at 4pm the Bowraville Theatre invites you to Nambucca Shire Council’s Centenary History, which will be launched at our Theatre.
Entitled ‘The Evolution of Community’ the history begins in 1915 when the Nambucca Valley split from what had been the Bellinger Shire Council.
Author Carrolline Rhodes describes the history as a living document that illuminates the past and points the way to Nambucca Valley’s future.
Places are limited for this once-in-a-lifetime-event. Refreshments will be available.
