Based at the White Albatross, the group will hold a Meet and Greet in front of the V Wall Tavern on Saturday, September 12 from 8.45 to 10.15am, for anyone wishing to drop by for a look and a chat.
The group will then ride en masse to South West Rocks and Kempsey, returning via the Pacific Highway in the afternoon.
The event is a chance for Goldwing riders from near and far (mainly NSW and Queensland) to come together, make friends and renew friendships and is open to anyone who rides a Goldwing or variant including solos, sidecars and trikes, with or without trailers.
Honda Goldwings first made their appearance in 1975 in Japan in the form of an 'unfaired' 1000 cc four cylinder machine that was extremely fast for that era.
Its 1100 cc upgrade appeared soon after and production moved to Ohio, USA.
Fairings and two more cylinders were added making the bikes perfect for long distance travel and winning them the affectionate title as "lounge chairs on wheels".
The capacity rose to 1200cc then 1500 cc and in 2000, the new shape in an 1800cc form hit the market.
Production returned to Japan in 2012 and enthusiasts are looking forward to yet another new shape and upgrade.
