The current plan dates from 2010, and council decided that a five-year review was due given changes associated with the construction of the new Pacific Highway and the growth in cycling for recreation, transport and tourism over the past few years.
Council is keen to hear from the community about what the priorities should be for cycleways, keeping in mind the limited resources available to council to construct the infrastructure.
It is intended the adopted plan will set the priorities for funding through developer contributions and grant assistance.
The draft review is available on council’s website at www.nambucca.nsw.gov.au under the 'Documents on Exhibition' tab.
Submissions should be in writing, either in a letter addressed to the general manager or via email council@nambucca.nsw.gov.au and should be submitted by July 30.
