Australia have won their fifth Cricket World Cup, but Shane Warne's interrogation of winning players about their post-match drinking plans has caused a stir and generated some laughs on social media.
Warne, who won a World Cup for Australia in 1999, asked members of the victorious Australian squad on three occasions whether a night on the cans would be on the cards.
The Channel Nine commentator asked wicketkeeper Brad Haddin: "Are you feeling thirsty?"
He also questioned Steve Smith: "Are you going to have a bit of a drink tonight too, Smitty? Are you going to get thirsty as well? The boys are thirsty, they seem."
He then turned his attention to Shane Watson and Josh Hazlewood.
"So what's the plan, besides lots of drink and that. How long is that going to last. Just one night, two nights? We saw [coach] Darren Lehmann say it might last a week. Do you reckon it will go a bit longer than that?"
There was a mixed reaction in the Twittersphere as to whether Warne's questions were warranted given the circumstances, or if his questions should have been focused on something other than alcohol.
Mark Nicholas also went down the same direction as Warne, asking Michael Clarke whether he thought Phillip Hughes would be sharing a drink and partying into the night with the other Australians.

In the early hours of Monday morning, Warne tweeted in response that the "do gooders" could "get stuffed", and started using the hashtag "thirsty".
