Gill explained the significance of the illustrations on the $20 note with John Flynn, the changes in communications and transportation. Time is still a crucial factor.
Gill spoke with admiration of the medical team on board, who treat patients or arrange admittance to a hospital. They travel long distances to assist those in need of urgent help.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 19 from 9.30am at Macksville Country Club.
The outing will be a lunch at Macksville Ex-Services Club on Tuesday, March 24 at noon.
