A search by police of the vehicle and all the occupants followed, resulting in the items being found.
A 27-year-old man and 38-year-old man are to receive court attendance notices for the offences.
Woman injured in dispute
A 54-year-old man was arrested following a domestic dispute on Tuesday after police attended a residence on East West Rd, Valla Beach.
A 52-year-old woman sustained a minor injury during the incident. The man was later charged at Macksville Police Station regarding the assault with the matter now before the court.
Highway blocked
About 10:40pm on Monday a car driven by a 45-year-old woman allegedly left the roadway while heading south on the Pacific Highway at Nambucca Heads. The front and driver’s side of the car were damaged.
It is believed the vehicle continued for a short distance before stopping in the south bound lane and obstructing holiday traffic.
Police and local security officers who were driving past stopped to offer assistance.
The vehicle was pushed off the roadway and while speaking with the driver, police smelt intoxicating liquor on her breath.
The woman was subjected to a random breath test which returned a positive result.
She was arrested and taken to Macksville Police Station where she underwent a breath analysis, returning a high-range reading of 0.155.
The woman was issued with a licence suspension and charged with the matter now before the court.
Drugs detected during stop
Police stopped a vehicle in Mann St for the purpose of a random breath test and drug detection on Friday night.
The 42-year-old female driver returned a negative RBT however drugs were found.
When asked, the woman produced a small plastic resealable bag containing a small quantity of cannabis. She was issued with a court attendance notice.
Cannabis found in garden
A cannabis plant was seized from a residence in Reid St, Macksville on Saturday around 2pm.
Police attended the residence and saw the plant growing in the garden.
A 31-year-old man will receive a court attendance notice for the offence.
Woman arrested after RBT
A 39-year-old woman was arrested and charged after she was stopped for a random breath test on Friday.
The woman returned a positive result when stopped by police in River St, Macksville at about 11.50pm.
She underwent a breath analysis at Macksville Police Station which returned a high-range reading of 0.159.
She was issued with a licence suspension and charged with the matter now before the court.
