The Nambucca Valley Historical Museum up on the headland at the tip of town is flushed with the success after its second holiday craft day for children.
Museum president Beverly Gibbs said it was a delight showing the children around the museum and seeing their curiosity.
"The old telephone and the pump organ are particular favourites," Beverly said.
At today's session 12 children from as far afield as Darwin, as well as country kids from Orange made mosaics and origami models based on the museum's themes of shipping and timber.
The final holiday craft day will be next Wednesday, January 21, 10am to noon.
The activities are free with the museum entry fee of 50 cents for children and $3 for adults.
Families are welcome. Bookings are essential, phone 6569 4353.
