THE HARD work has paid off once again for Year 12 students of Macksville High School with an incredible 18 Band 6 results across eleven subjects, supported by 46 Band 5 results.

Claire Harmer topped the tree with an amazing 95 per cent in Ancient History, 94 in Advanced English and 90 in Biology.
“These results reflect the hard work she has put into her HSC,” careers adviser Lynda Shrubb told the Guardian.
Elizabeth Smith and Evie Smith also collected a number of Band 6s.
Elizabeth scored 92 per cent in Advanced English as well as in Visual Arts with Evie gaining an impressive 93 per cent in both Textiles and French.
The Personal Development, Health and Physical Education class scored four Band 6s with Anelise Davis on 91 per cent and Megan Porter, Alina Tape and Andrew Knox all scoring a 90.
And the list of Band 6s goes on with Katerina Brown 91 Japanese, Emma Mulvihill 93 Senior Science and Sian Hall and Jennifer McMullen-Halverson both receiving 45/50 in extension 1 English.
The school is immensely proud of the results achieved by the class of 2014.
