An outstanding student, Mallee has had a busy year representing the school in many events. In previous years she has had the starring role of Dorothy in the school’s play of The Wizard of Oz and in 2013 she represented Stuarts Point at the Schools Spectacular in Sydney as a performer in the Small Schools Marimba Ensemble.
Earlier this year Mallee won the Multi-Cultural Public Speaking Competition for her local area and went on to the regional schools’ final where she was highly commended.
As well as being the girl school captain, Mallee is also the treasurer and a driving force for the Student Parliament, which has involved far more than just “keeping the books”.
Mallee was also nominated to receive the students’ Rotary Citizenship Award for 2014 in the Kempsey region.
The North Coast Primary Schools’ Debating Team is a group made up of the best North Coast Year 5/6 debaters.
