Leonie Duroux said the families had requested this.
“The service is already there and it is always struggling,” Leonie said.
Youthie coordinator, Chris Hewgill, said the service was honoured to be considered for the role.
“While we have some outreach in Bowraville, it has long been clear to us that the town is crying out for youth services,” Chris said.
‘With funding, we could really offer something ... based on community consultation as to what services are wanted.
“It would all take a while but it would be good.”
Also listed was the Red Dust Healing Program, an innovative and highly effective approach to assisting men and women in their efforts to heal and make better choices for themselves and in their relationships.
The course is described as targetting the heart, not the head, to ignite the healing fire of the heart.
