To mark the occasion students wore mufti and donated a gold coin, which with the monies collected, is used to sponsor several children with their education in a less fortunate country.
The students were divided into 28 groups, with children mixed from Kinder to Year 6 in each group. This gave students an opportunity to get to know others a little better.
From balloon popping and board games to balancing challenges, students enjoyed, helped and encouraged each other with an array of activities.
Each of the groups also designed and created a poster reflecting one of the many qualities that the school instils into its everyday life. These posters were presented by the group leaders at a reflective liturgy and each will be displayed around the school.
