A spokeswoman for the RMS said the new bridges would form the main alignment of the Pacific Highway upgrade with one for northbound and one for southbound traffic.
"Delivery of eleven bridge girders for the project has been under way since Monday and is expected to be completed today (Wednesday)," she said.
The two massive cranes used to place the girders have come from Sydney and the girders themselves were transported from Macksville.
Roads and Maritime will start building work for the northbound bridge in coming months.
The Pacific Highway upgrade is in on track for completion by 2020.
