The second photo is of Manor Smith who is the club’s winner of the Consistency Singles. Manor defeated Vicki Wright 138 points to 152. This is Manor’s second singles title this year.
On August 19 the club held its Annual Gala Day with clubs visiting from Woolgoolga, Coffs Ex- Services, West Coffs, Urunga, Macksville and Scotts Head. With more than 70 players taking part a great day was had by all. Winners on a composite draw were Kay Wood, Mary Silvia,
Joy Nicholas and Marilyn Montgomery. Runners-up Ava Power, Dot Evans, S Jones and Pam James.
Special prizes: Moira Blair, Kate Adams, Nan Long, Ronda Riley, H Brazel and Myra McKay.
On August 21 two games of Minor-Major Pairs were played with Carol Hunt and Gloria Richardson defeating Sandra Hamblion and Myra McKay 24 shots to 16, and Moira Blair and Noelene Lawrence beating Lyn Hartman and Noelene Lawrence 16-14.
