As part of a venture by the Coffs Harbour Centenary of Rail committee, all money raised from the dinner trains will be donated to the CANDO Cancer Trust.
The vintage train will leave Urunga at 5.24pm on Saturday, continuing to Nambucca 5.48pm, then back to Urunga 6.07pm, then Sawtell 6.55pm and pulling into Coffs 7.01pm – leaving passengers close to two hours to dine at any of the restaurants along the Jetty Strip.
Anyone who wishes to stay longer at either end can return home separately by XPT.
“It’s a great venture and CANDO are a great organisation which is why we are supporting them with this night,” chair of the Coffs Harbour Centenary of Rail committee, Neil Manson, said.
“Round up your friends, and the designated train driver will get you to and from your destination safely.”
n The Guardian has two tickets to the dinner train to give away. To enter simply phone our office on 6568-7555 and leave your name, email address and phone number before midday tomorrow (Friday).
