Birthday celebrations with a difference ... a 'mock' wedding was the theme for the party
Complete with tearful pregnant bridesmaid (Joy Eastwood) and unenthusiastic flower girl (Margaret Dedman), the reluctant groom (president, Marion Watts ) was hitched to the glorious bride, a study of dignity in purple (Fay Comloquoy).
Celebrant, Barbara Lowden, had her work cut out controlling the cheeky best man, Beth Messervy.
The celebrations also included musical interludes by Jim Boswell.
National councillor, Laura O'Brien, was a special guest.
