THE Nambucca Valley branch of the Naval and Mariners’ Association of Australia will conduct their July monthly meeting this Sunday, July 20 at Macksville Ex-Services Club Ltd to start at 11am.

Items for discussion include the proposed bus trip to Brushgrove to meet with the Ballina ships-company for a barbecue luncheon.
Other topics include: Sunset Service on Monday, August 4 to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of WWI; Long Tan or Vietnam Remembrance Day, Monday, August 18 at Nambucca Heads; and a proposed visit to the Naval Cadet Unit, TS Culgoa at South West Rocks. Lunch will follow the meeting.
Former members of the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Merchant Navy, Commonwealth and Allied Navies and Merchant Navies, professional seamen who were in State or Federal Government employ are invited to come along and perhaps join our ranks as ordinary members and social membership is open to those who hold an interest in the sea and seafaring.
