A 31-year-old woman was lucky not to be injured after she was involved in a motor vehicle accident last Thursday at about 10.10pm on the Scotts Head Rd, Way Way.

The driver said she lost control when trying to avoid a wallaby on the roadway.
As a result the car collided with a safety railing and careered through a fence before coming to rest in a nearby paddock.
The woman was uninjured but the vehicle required towing from the scene.
Police will issue the woman with an infringement notice.
