Roads and Maritime Services said the road closures will provide safe access to local memorial sites for ANZAC Day parades and remembrance ceremonies.
“An ANZAC Day ceremony will be held on the Pacific Highway at Macksville between 10.45am and 11.30am,” a Roads and Maritime spokesperson said.
“Temporary traffic control will be implemented with the highway closed for up to 10 minutes."
Motorists are advised to allow an extra 15 minutes travel time for this journey as considerable delays will be experienced.
Waterfall Way will be closed in Bellingen from 8.30am to 10am and also in Dorrigo from 5am to 6am and 10am to 11am.
"Traffic is expected to be busy on ANZAC Day as it is the start of a long weekend at the end of the New South Wales school holidays,” the spokesperson said.
Motorists should expect delays during this time and are asked to show respect for this significant event.
Cars and motorcycles can use local roads to detour around the closure. Heavy vehicles will be required to park.
Temporary traffic controllers and local police will be on site to direct traffic and in the interests of safety, motorists are asked to follow all traffic directions.
