With more than 2500 people through the gates, organisers said that was more than double what they expected.
Scotts Head Events committee secretary Jo Evelyn said the beautiful weather helped draw the crowds and many stallholders sold out completely.
“The day went so well and the final act, the headliners Ebb n Flo, had everyone up dancing,” Jo said.
“It was a lot of work but well worth the effort ... and now that we have had this success for the first one, next year will be easier.”
She said stallholders who had not been willing to take the risk at the first festival would hopefully jump on the bandwagon now.
“After the loss of the New Year's Eve fireworks, we decided we wanted something that was social and family-friendly.
"This was 18 months in the planning and involved a lot of wonderful volunteers.
“Just now we are all in recovery mode, although with school holidays, there is not really much time for that!”
