A BAKER’S dozen of athletes from Macksville High have rippled through the NSW Combined High Schools’ Swimming Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park - achieving some eye catching results.

Alina Tape dominated the first event of the meet, securing gold in the 800m free. She followed this up with more gold in the 400m free and 100m fly and a silver medal in the 200m Free.
Tannah Bradshaw’s performances were outstanding also, earning a silver medal in the 200m individual medley and bronze in both the 100m back and the gruelling 400m IM.
Kyran Tsujimoto, Matiese Trisley, Sophie Atkins, Kate Shaw and Yierah Dunn all had solid performances in their individual events.
The 17+ girls relay team of Alina Tape, Sophie Atkins, Peta Salter and Jasmine Stanton finished seventh in the State while the 13 years boys finished 17th and included Kyran Tsujmoto, Flynn Watts, Heath Galvin and Ryan Atkins. These students were joined by Matiese Trisley, Tannah Bradshaw, and brother and sister Kate and Sid Shaw in the 12x50m Knockout Relay, where they finished ninth.
All students are to be congratulated on their outstanding sportsmanship and effort.
