TWO men fled on foot after the vehicle they were in was brought to a stop by road spikes in a police pursuit near Urunga last night.
Officers deployed the spikes near Martells Rd just after 9 o'clock after a white Subaru Liberty attempted to outrun a Highway Patrol unit on the Pacific Highway at Urunga.
Officers searched bushland and the Coffs Harbour-based dog unit also attended however the men were not found.
