THE Pacific Highway is now operating under alternating traffic conditions after a serious truck accident approximately 500 metres north of the Macksville Bridge this morning.
A contraflow was put in place which has since been changed to stop/slow in northbound lanes.
Emergency services and traffic crews are still on site.
Queue lengths are:
Southbound four kilometres
Northbound five kilometres
Motorists are advised exercise caution, allow plenty of extra travel time and expect delays.
