excursion to enhance their studies of HSC topics in Science, Biology and English.
The excursion is put together by the English and Science
faculties to give students the chance to visit a number of institutions.
Day 1 was an early start on the bus to travel to Sydney. That night English students went to watch a performance of Hamlet.
Day 2 saw a visit to the ABC studios, Botanic Gardens, the University of NSW and the Q Station at Manly.
Day 3 activities included a visit to the University of Sydney, IMAX and Luna Park.
And the stop at Luna Park did involve some relevance to science – before it was back on the bus for the long trip home.
After an action packed 3 days the staff and students were fairly exhausted, but everyone agreed the excursion was of great benefit to their studies and the students were
appreciative of the opportunity.
