A fourball multiplier was contested, sponsored by Tony and Sue Adams. The course played fairly hard and the scores reflected this although the early golfer seemed to have the easier going.
A highlight saw club captain Kevin Coleborn wearing a woman’s dress - the punishment for his team’s loss to the president’s side the week before.
Kevin played the full 18 holes in the dress, much to the delight of his fellow members.
The competition winners were Al Keetman and Stan Young with 86 points - including a massive 47 points on the back nine.
Runners up and a long way back were Tony Hardge and Roy Rudner with 74.
Last place was 31 points - multipliers can be a tough day if you don’t combine well.
The front nine was won by Steve Hunt and Paul Donges, and the back by Nathan O’Conner and Ben Evans.
Nearest the pins went to Garry Clarke (A grade), Max Ward (B) and Tony Henshaw (C)
