SPEED limit changes will be implemented on Taylor's Arm Rd and Boat Harbour Rd in the next week, weather permitting.
A Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) spokesperson said the changes resulted from a speed zone review of the existing speed limits.
"RMS has carried out a review along Taylor's Arm and Boat Harbour roads as part of the NSW audit of speed zones," the spokesperson said.
"The review assessed a number of factors including road environment, traffic characteristics and crash data.
"The existing 60kph and 100kph speed limit on Taylor's Arm Rd in Macksville and Boat Harbour Rd will be changed to 80kph for 26 kilometres.
"The existing 60kph on Taylor's Arm Rd at Taylor's Arm will also be reduced to 50kph.
"The change will provide a more consistent approach to speed zoning along the roads and better reflect the road conditions."
Warning signs will be in place to advise motorists of the changes and will remain in place for at least a week after the new speed limit signs have been installed.
