Morgan selected for the Sydney ball squad

26 Jan, 2012 03:00 AM
Nambucca Heads tennis junior Morgan Robins spent last week up close with some of the world’s best tennis players at Sydney’s Apia International Tennis Tournament.

Morgan was selected for the Sydney Ball squad after completing a number of training sessions with five other North Coast tennis juniors from Kendall.

The squad comprised 96 juniors from all over the state.

The tournament saw the best-ever player’s field with nine of the top 10 women in the world playing.

Morgan was given centre court honours on Wednesday night at the women’s quarter final matches with world number one Caroline Wozniacki and enjoyed this experience best of all.

Morgan can’t wait to participate in more tournaments during the year and meet again with the many friends she made through the experience.
