02 Sep 10 | Our biggest golfing week, promoted as ‘golfest’, has passed with record numbers achieved over the eight days of the tournament.
22 Jul 10 | On Wednesday (14th) Nambucca Heads Island Golf Course ladies played a single Stableford event. There were 37 starters and the day was sponsored by Ruth Blanch.
15 Jul 10 | After backing themselves for a good round by entering the Top Gun Shoot Out before Saturday’s round, John Hopkins and Dennis Ashton both figured in the proceedings after rounds of 44 to ‘Hoppy’ and Dennis with a round of 40.
08 Jul 10 | Finally finding some form was the writer, with a round of 46 points, to get the main voucher for the round.
01 Jul 10 | Youth has won out over experience in the men’s championship, with Nathan Smith’s final round of 71/66 too good on the final day for Brian Burn’s 75/72.
