 Aussies eye Lord’s

Aussies eye Lord’s

16 Jul, 2009 05:00 AM
The Australian Ashes team will be looking for a solid start to the second test at Lord’s tonight, after a disappointing draw in Cardiff.

Macksville’s Aussie opener Phillip Hughes will be looking to build on his solid first-test innings of 36 as he takes to the crease again over the next few days.

Hughes was part of a spectacular Aussie batting line-up that saw 674 scored with the loss of only six wickets.

However, Lord’s will see the English on home soil for the first time in this Ashes series.

Hughes is expected to be a target in the English bowling attack as they try to break the Aussie’s impressive line-up.
