Valley drug busts

MORE than $320,000 worth of cannabis plants was seized in two separate raids at the weekend.

Sixty-four plants, ranging from one to three metres in height, were removed and destroyed from Way Way State Forest at Grassy Head on Saturday. The plants’ estimated value was $128,000.

The following day, an estimated $200,000 worth of cannabis was seized from a nature reserve in Algomera. One hundred cannabis plants, ranging from one to three metres in height were pulled from the ground in a cleared site, and taken back to Macksville Police Station.

Police are investigating both matters.

this only encourages people to grow and smoke hydro which is causing mental illness in epidemic proportions in our society. better to let people smoke the lesser strength state forest variety than have them frying their brains with hydro
