Nambucca Primary celebrates 125 years of education

18 Jun, 2009 03:32 PM
Nambucca Heads Primary School celebrated 125 years of educating the Valley during a special reunion during the June longweekend.

Ex-student joined current student in digging up a time capsule buried 25 years ago, at the school's centenary celebrations.

Activities during the weekend included a fete on Saturday, June 6 followed by a dinner dance at the local RSL Club and a breakfast on Sunday, June 7.

Ex-students travelled from near and far to attend the event, which reunited many old school friends - some who hadn't seen each other in more than 40 years.
