More rain, some flooding expected

Up to 230 millimetres of rain has fallen in the Nambucca Valley in the 33 hours to 9am today.

This rain is expected to cause moderate flooding at Bowraville today.

With more rain predicted today, further river rises are expected.

The river is expected to reach 6.8m at Bowraville about noon today and moderate flooding is predicted.

At Taylors Arm at Utungun the river was measured at 1.48m and rising at 10.29am. Four minutes later at Macksville, the Nambucca River was measured at 1.4m and steady.
