Library planning pays off for Adventist school

28 Oct, 2010 03:00 AM
Months of planning for for Macksville Adventist School (MACS) new education facility has paid off – construction of the school’s new library is under way.

The building was funded through grants from the Federal Government Economic Stimulus Scheme.

“Our new library facility will allow us to expand and provide access to computers, books, teach crafts, run early childhood literacy programs and have toddler and preschool story times,” principal David McNeill said.

“Students will be able to just chill out and read during lunch breaks.

“Over the next 12 months our school will be undergoing a number of changes – our new library, raised vegetable gardens for each student, and a new carpark to control vehicle entry and exit traffic. We are also looking forward to 2012 with the start of Year 7,” Mr McNeill said.

Enrollments for Year 7 are now open.

Enquiries should be directed to principal, David McNeill on 0265 682 107.
