PAUL Gallagher, director of Engineering Services, wishes to advise residents of the Nambucca Shire of the current state of roads affected by the flood event.
He stressed road conditions can change at any time and the following information on the state of roads and bridges in the shire is to the best of council’s knowledge as at 1pm today.

Council is continuously assessing roads throughout the Shire and will update council’s website at scheduled intervals.
Mr Gallagher said motorists must take care and precaution when travelling on both the sealed and unsealed roads within the shire due to pavement damage.
Any residents who requires emergency help in floods and storms, should call the SES on 132-500. In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero).
Residents can report any problems experienced on roads to council’s emergency after hours line on (0417) 488 565 or 6568-2555 during normal business hours.
