The Pacific Highway remains closed near Grafton and at Corindi on the State's North Coast due to flooding.
The Pacific Highway is closed in both directions, 1.5km north of the Gwydir Highway near Grafton.
Northbound light vehicles can use Centenary Drive as an alternative route and southbound light vehicles are being diverted at Ballina onto the Bruxner Highway to Casino, then onto Summerland Way to Grafton.
Northbound heavy vehicles are being diverted through Grafton onto Summerland Way to Casino then onto the Bruxner Highway.
Southbound heavy vehicles are being diverted at Ballina onto the Bruxner Highway to Casino, then onto Summerland Way to Grafton.
Northbound B-doubles should take the New England Highway then Gwydir Highway to Grafton then Summerland Way to Casino then the Bruxner Highway.
Southbound B-doubles should take the Bruxner Highway from Ballina to Casino, then Summerland Way to Grafton, then the Gwydir Highway and New England Highway.
The Pacific Highway is also closed in both directions near Blackadder Creek at Corindi, which is between Coffs Harbour and Grafton.
It is expected to remain closed until at least midnight.Motorists are advised to avoid all these areas and delay their trip.
There are also potholes affecting the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Tweed Heads.
Flooding has also closed the following roads in both directions:
- Orara Way at Glenreagh;
- Waterfall Way between Dorrigo Mountain and Raleigh;
- Bungalow Road between Bexhill and Orion Street, Lismore;
- Tweed Valley Way between Chinderah and Tumbulgum.
